The Street is The Temple. The Temple is The Street
When I come to our firecircles, I’m doing a mid-air refueling for the seculospiritual bridging I do in the world away from the intentionally sacred space of the Circle. I attend gatherings – and do most of my intense self-work – with the goal of honing the ease, accuracy, and strength of my leadership tools for sustainable success. And two of the most powerful tools I’ve encountered for fueling my manifestation abilities are 1) trusting my gut from my head AND my heart and 2) rebirthing myself from a place of self-empowerment.
When you participate in our growthshop, my goal is for you walk away with concrete methods for choosing and manifesting your seculospiritual power with increased confidence. To do this, we’ll explore exercises and contextual shifts which support our cycles of rebirth. We’ll, then, combine this with techniques for manifesting more of what you want AND less of what you don’t want.
I choose to believe that our work at ForestDance can bring us unprecedented power in informing, and shaping, our worlds. I look forward to exploring what I’ve learned about doing exactly that – and learning from you about how YOU do that – with each of you.
Julie C. Woods:
I’m Julie C. Woods and I’m facilitating at ForestDance because a) I’ll do anything for Jason Dragonfly; b) it’s my bliss to support the expansion of the seculospiritual leaders who attend FD to do their healing work. Spiritually, I’m an Urban Bliss Shaman. Secularly, I’m a Street Wolf with a Harvard degree in Psychology/ Bio-Electrical Engineering. Musically, I’m a singer/ songwriter/ percussionist who Jimmy Page, of Led Zeppelin, said is “the most cyclonic performer” he’s ever seen. Artistically, I’m a visual artist whose work has been featured in one of the top 5 American art galleries in the world. I even have some cool alphabet soup after my name: Communications Director for FMG Network; Executive Editor for FMG Magazine; Director of Education for FMG University.
What’s most important in THIS Now, however, is that I’m committed to nurturing our greatnesses – yours AND mine – through the centers of our power as bridges between the firecircle on the mountain and the firecircles we carry with us out into the world. I EAGERLY look forward to learning from each other at ForestDance 2011! Julie.Woods@FMGUniversity.com
