Sacred Movement seed group: Maria Campos Participants in this group will explore sacred dances, honoring the collective soul and the body’s intelligence, we will dialogue through freestyle movement with sensual and powerful rhythms. In tune with natural elements and where they reside in the body, we will celebrate cultural expression that will guarantee to uplift, inform and inspire. We will also discuss and experiment with the relationship that dance has to the sacred fire circle. Maria Campos Dancer, choreographer, teacher, but most importantly: an admirer of the supreme motion in this earthly experience. Something about dance captured her at a very early age, took hold of her and has since transformed into her greatest form of expression and communion. Graduated from Universidad Nacional of Costa Rica in Contemporary Dance, Maria offers her work at National and International Dance Festivals. Workshops and classes that she has been involved with facilitation include: Belly Dance, Samkia, Indian Dance, Tribal fusion, Dance African, Yoga, and Flamenco. Currently she is teaching at her Academy Tierra Fertil. She has been there since 2005 producing shows for the end of her student's semesters. Maria is the founder and choreography of the Tribal dance Group Tri-Maskal which fuses ethnic dances with contemporary dance. Based in San Jose, Costa Rica, Tri-Maskal's performances offer messages of growth both to its dancers and spectators. Bailarina, coreógrafa y maestra, pero lo más importante: al admiradora del movimiento supremo en esta experiencia terrenal. Desde una edad muy temprana su atención fue capturada por la danza, pero no fue hasta más tarde que ella lo incorpora en su vida, como la manera más grande de comunicación entre el universo y ella. Graduado de Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica en Danza Contemporánea. Participa en importantes Festivales de Danza Nacionales e Internacionales, como bailarina y coreógrafa. Asiste a diversos talleres y clases: Danza de vientre, Samkia, Danza de la India, Tribal Fusión, Danzas Africanas, flamenco y Yoga. Enseña hoy en día en su academia Tierra Fertil. Cada año, se prepara para demostrar con un Show con sus estudiantes, que terminan el ciclo. Desde 2005. Fundador tribal y coreografía del grupo de las danzas Tri-Maskal. En donde fusiona danzas étnicas con danza contemporánea. Buscando así contribuir con sus trabajos, un mensaje del crecimiento y evolución, tanto para sus miembros en cuanto a los espectadores. |
